We always need people who can spare some time to help run our community library. Why not come and make new friends??
We are keen to hear from you, whatever your background and experience, even if you can only find an occasional couple of hours.
There are usually two people on each morning or afternoon session, and at least one needs to be comfortable using our computer system and photocopier.( after full training) Some find it easier to cover the same shift each week , whereas 'floating volunteers' are needed whenever there are gaps in the rota. There is an on-line shift booking system in use.
We need makers, bakers and helpers for our social activities, groups and events, plus people with IT ,financial, business and organisational skills to work behind the scenes.
Come into the library and have a chat with one of the volunteers then fill in our simple application form.
